Here's a set of frequently asked questions about the fusebox.
The wines in your fusebox are all sourced from highly-rated Spectator vineyards, of the same quality as commercial wines we produce that sell for $45 to $95. We wish we could identify the specific sources, but as most wine aficionados know, the better the quality of the grapes, and the more highly-rated the wineries, the less they are willing to be identified. In this case, all of our sources contractually bound us to keep their secret.
Your fusebox is meant for use soon after you purchase it. Remember, the fusebox blending session is only the first step in your wine blending journey. Once you use your fusebox to create a blend suited to your particular palate, you may order as many cases as you wish of the exact wine you blended. The wines contained in your fusebox are current vintages and once bottled in 750ml bottles, can cellar for several years. So, use your fusebox as soon as possible after you receive it, so we don't run out of the components to fulfill your order of the wine you blend. We've got plenty of each, but at some point our components will need to change...so blend up!
Each fusebox contains four placemats and four mouth pipettes. It is optimal to have one fusebox for every 4 people.
Yes, your purchase is secure. When you click the "Checkout" button to complete your order, you'll notice that your browser navigation window switches from an "http" prefix to "https" to indicate a secure, encrypted connection.

In order to maximize our ability to manage our wine inventory, we currently do not distribute fusebox through local retailers. We may considering offering fusebox through select on-line retailers in the future.
Chances are, your email client spam filter errantly identified our confirmation receipt as junk. You'll want to look for it there first. If you still can't locate it, please email pamela@crushpadwine.com and we'll resend it.

Sorry, gift wrapping is not available.
We currently do not offer international shipping, as fuseboxes are typically delivered by FedEx Ground service. Also, international shipping costs would well exceed the cost of the fusebox itself.
Orders are typically processed within 48 hours - excluding holidays and weekends.
Delivery Times:
- San Francisco Bay Area: One business day after ship date.
- Southern California: 2 business days after ship date.
- Entire Pacific Coast: 2-3 business days after ship date.
- Midwest, Mountain, Southwest: 4 business days after ship date.
- Northeast*, Southeast*: 5 business days after ship date.
- AZ, NJ: these orders will arrive about a week or so later than the times above (thank your legislatures)
*Sometimes wine shipped to the Northeast and Southeast will not get there until the following Monday.
It depends upon where it will be shipped. Shipping charges are based on weight and destination fees for FedEx Ground according to the following table:
- CA, NV,OR: $24
- CO, ID,NM,WA,WY: $25
- IA, MN, MO, NE, ND, TX: $30
- CT, FL, GA, IL, LA, MI, NH, NY, NC, OH, SC, VA, VT, DC, WV, WI: $33
- AZ: $42
- NJ: $48
Sales Tax will be charged where required by law.
During the online ordering process just prior to "Checkout", you will presented a summary of your costs. The delivery cost will default to Ground Shipping. If you wish to pick up your fusebox at the Crushpad Logistics Center and save the shipping costs, however, you can simply click on the drop down menu and select "Pick up / Local."
