Tyler Florence Makes Epic Zin

In addition to being our best cooking and best looking client, Tyler Florence makes some pretty damn good zin too!  Wine Spectator just picked up on this and gave his 2006 Dry Creek Zin 92 points and a heady review.

If you haven’t yet been to Tyler’s store in Mill Valley, it is a must visit.  Check out the pictures on his new website. You can even buy this wine there.

Zinfandel Dry Creek Valley 2006

92 points | $70 | 25 cases made | Red

Rich and well-structured, a Zinfandel built for Napa Cabernet lovers, with bold aromas of toasty vanila oak and blackberry that lead to dense but still fleshy black cherry, spicy mocha and roasted sage. The tannins are firm but ripe on the finish. Drink now through 2013.—T.F.
