Yesterday Kristen, one of our new winery staff members, got the honors of doing a little old fashioned grape stomping. This particular bin of grenache had some whole stem inclusion and we wanted to break up those berries that didn’t break during punchdowns.

Hungary’s loss is Crushpad’s gain.
Our newest wine maker, Emi Foldi, comes to us from Hungary — by way of Australia and Washington state — having worked at the likes of Chateau Ste Michelle, Palmaz Vineyards and Chappellet. She’ll be specializing in Bordeaux varietals for Crushpad. Welcome Emi!
