Has a grape ever gone from overrated to underrated as quickly as Merlot? Perhaps it had already begun but certainly ever since Miles fumed,"I'm not drinking any @#$%#$# Merlot!" its popularity has been in free fall.

Californian documentary maker Rudy McClain set out to rebalance this situation with his homage to Merlot, Merlove. This aptly named film contains interviews with some of the best Merlot producers around the world.

We're hosting the first public screening of Merlove in San Francisco in the Crushpad winery and you're invited to Movie Night. We'll have fresh popped corn, guest merlot producers from Judd's Hill and Blackbird Vineyards, a special Crushpad merlot to taste and maybe even some ju ju bees.

This event is also a BYOM event. Be sure to bring a bottle of your favorite Merlot to share with the crowd. We've done this before with Gary V's 500th episode and it seems to work out really well. Bonus points if you bring Petrus or Le Pin.
