Summer Sipping - Sauvignon Blanc Tasting • July 29th

Decorative picture Celebrate summer with an examination of this aromatic white grape. We'll comb Napa, Sonoma, Santa Barbara, South Africa, Sancerre and the land of hobbits (New Zealand) for unique interpretations of the grape while exploring the roles of acidity, malolactic fermentation, stainless steel and oak.

If you have a favorite Sauvignon Blanc you'd like to share, you are welcome to bring a bottle. We'll discuss & review what decisions may have been made to highlight the flavors in that particular bottle.

These tastings are a fun and unique opportunity to sharpen your palate as we explore different varietals, regions or wine making styles.
