OPEN POSITIONS

PHP/MySql Developer

We are combining Web 2.0 technologies with mass customization to create a new industry structure where the consumer calls the shots in their winemaking experience. We are building out this social production platform and need a forward-looking technical developer. We are looking for someone with experience with:

  • Experience with MYSQL or other SQL based DB, including schema/index design
  • Experience with a PHP and other web programming languages
  • Experience with Linux OS & Windows
  • Understanding of good user interface design principles

Additional bonus points for candidates with:
  • Experience with AJAX, DHTML and JavaScript/CSS as part of developing community web sites (blogs, forums, messaging technologies)
  • Experience with Drupal
  • A desire to work around wine and winemaking


Winemaker - San Francisco

We need an enthusiastic winemaker to join our growing team of dedicated wine specialists. You will be a self starter with an amazing eye for detail and a highly tuned palate, experienced in the ways of both old and new world winemaking techniques. You will have the knowledge and passion to take winemaking to a whole new level while working with some of the finest vineyards on the West Coast. You must be able to confidently communicate your winemaking passion to others as this is one of the core values of the client experience at Crushpad. You will be personable, calm under pressure and have a good sense of humor that will benefit those you work with.

Account Manager - San Francisco

We also need another high-energy individual to come onboard as an account manager. Your responsibilities cover everything from initial sales to support, tastings and even getting up on the sorting line with the client. You should have strong knowledge of new world and European wine, a basic understanding of the winemaking process, and a strong customer service focus. We are looking for someone to foster relationships, not just conduct transactions. Chief Winemaker - Seattle

Do you like people as much as making wine? Do you have a proven track record of pushing the envelope and creating knock-out wines? Excited by the idea of making hundreds of unique wines every year? We are currently creating the team to support our expansion into Seattle later this year and are looking for a mature, experienced leader to build out and operate a 30,000+ case facility in the heart of Seattle. Requirements include:

  • Track record of creating great, not simply good, wine
  • B.S. degree in Enology or equivalent
  • Excellent sensory skills
  • Deep experience with every function in the winery
  • Ability to hire and motivate a rockstar winemaking team
  • Strong organizational, planning and financial skills
  • A slight bias to masochism because this is the hardest job you'll ever have

Our preference is for someone with at least 10 years production experience and broad coverage of red and white varietals and winemaking styles.


General Management, Marketing & Client Management - Seattle

While the person above is building out the winery, we're also building a team of general management, marketing and client management. You will work closely with the team in San Francisco, leveraging central processes and resources while creating a unique environment and brand building initiatives to support Seattle.
