“Living in New York, Crushpad allows me to make wine without being at the source. Where else can I dig my virtual arms elbow-deep in wine? I dig the voodoo they do with the vino!”

Six Steps to Running a Wine Business

We've taken the complex bits out of running your own wine business, and boiled it down to these six steps:

1. Join Crushpad Commerce

Every member signs an operating agreement that clearly defines your responsibilities and the responsibilities of Crushpad Commerce. You can either be an existing business entity or an individual. We can even help you create a new entity if required.

2. Make Wine

Make wine with either our team in Napa or in Bordeaux.

3. Create Your Brand

Create your brand with your own resources or leverage our design and legal experience from helping launch other wine brands.

4. Sell Your Wine

We help you with "best practices" for promoting your wine to ensure that you put your best foot forward to create demand for your wines. We also support direct-to-consumer sales in over 35 states, wholesale support, direct-to-trade, registration in online marketplaces, and internet marketing support using social media, widgets and other techniques.

5. Fulfill Orders

In addition to providing and operating your ecommerce platform, we do 100% of the transaction including order acceptance, payment processing, wine storage, compliance, and direct-to-consumer and commercial shipping across most of the US.

6. Distribute Funds

We pay taxes, deduct our service fee and then distribute the proceeds back to you. Your accounting couldn't be simpler as you get summary financial statements that are easy to plug into your personal or business financial returns.
